Bernie Mac died today.
From Wikipedia: "On August 1, 2008, Mac was hospitalized with - according to his publicist - pneumonia. The next day, responding to rumors that the actor was in "very, very critical condition", his publicist said that he was responding well to treatment, and should be released soon.[4] On August 9, Bernie Mac died from - according to his publicist - complications of" pneumonia."
Death always puts things into perspective. Don't bitch about problems you face in life because life will never run out of problems, simply appreciate that you are alive and have the opportunity to face these challenges. Bernie Mac was a funny motherfucker. My most cherished memory of the Macman was in "The Original Kings of Comedy", when he talks about satisfying his wife in bed. He compares his performance to 2 rounds of heavy weight boxing, and urges his wife to stop screaming and hollering already and just come already.

Bernie Mac was one of those dudes, those real dudes that you can relate to no matter how Hollywood or famous he got. His persona was so strong; when he's on stage you can't help but pay attention to what he says. I know I'll miss him making me laugh.
